Homemade Besan ka Puda is a very tasty recipe and very easy to make. You only have to keep in mind that the batter you make is neither much more thick nor thin. The procedure is almost the same as we make an omelette. It also looks like an omelette. The main ingredient in this is a besan which we also called gram flour. You can also add vegetables like mushrooms but in this, I can’t use a mushroom because of the unavailability of it. You can serve it with a tomato sauce or a chutney. Here I gave you a simple method to prepare this tasty yummy recipe.

Ingredients

  • 100 gm besan (gram flour)
  • water as required
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • tomato – 1 finely chopped
  • 1 finely chopped capsicum (shimla mirch)
  • 2-3 finely chopped green chilli (hari mirch)
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp kali mirch
  • salt to taste
  • oil
  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala
  • pinch of turmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp kasoori methi
  • 1 tbsp fresh finely chopped coriander leaves

Method

  • To make this homemade easy besan ka puda recipe, firstly take a bowl add besan and water.
  • Mix it well.
  • Now add finely chopped onion, finely chopped tomato, finely chopped capsicum, green chilli chopped, chopped coriander leaves.
  • Mix it well.
  • Now, add salt, pinch of haldired chilli powder.
  • Mix it well.
  • Batter is ready.
  • Now take a non stick tawa, add some oil and heat it.
  • Now put some batter on center of a tawa, spread this batter and cook it.
  • When it cook at one side then move into another side. and cook it.
  • When it cooked to both side means besan ka pudda is ready.
  • Now, garnish this besan ka pudda with finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with mint tamarind chutney or tomato sauce.

Tip

  • You can also add mushroom.
