Tasty spicy subz pulao is an Indian recipe. It’s very yummy and tasty. It is full of nutrients and a very healthy meal. Here a two simple methods to make this subz pulao.
Ingredients
- 1cup basmati rice
- 3 tbsp oil
- 2 onions cuts into slices
- 1/2 tbsp cauliflower florets
- 1 potato cut into small pieces
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 2 carrots cut into slices
- 1 cup green peas
- 1/4 tbsp haldi (turmeric powder)
- 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1 green capsicum cut into small pieces
- 1 big tomato cut into small pieces
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1/2 tbsp black pepper powder
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
Method to prepare in a microwave
- To make a homemade subz pulao, take a broad micro proof dish, put all the ingredients except rice.
- Microwave covered for 3 minutes.
- Now add the rice and 2 cup hot water in it .
- Microwave covered for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with curd or chutney.

Method to prepare in a cooker
To prepare a subz pulao in a cooker, all the ingredients are the same the only difference is to make it. Here are some simple steps to make it in a cooker.
- To make this subz pulao, take a cooker, add oil, cumin seeds and finely chopped onions.
- Cook it till onions brown.
- Now add ginger paste, peas, haldi, cauliflower florets, potato, carrot, capsicum, red chilli powder, salt, tomato, garam masala, black pepper powder, coriander leaves.
- Mix well.
- Now add rice and water.
- Mix it.
- Pressure cook for two whistles.
- serve hot.
